Arun Ulagaratchagan

Partner Director of Program Management, Microsoft Business Apps Engineering

Arun is responsible for customer and partner success for Microsoft's portfolio of business applications – Dynamics 365, Power BI, PowerApps, and Microsoft Flow. He and his team are responsible for providing solution architecture and technical guidance for customers, helping system integrators build technical capability and practices, and working with ISVs to build compelling applications that are available to customers through Microsoft AppSource. 

Previously, as the General Manager of the APAC Cloud & Enterprise Division, Arun was responsible for growing Microsoft's Windows Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, and Business Intelligence businesses for Microsoft in the Asia Pacific region. 

Arun held worldwide accountability for growing Microsoft's SQL Server business with enterprise customers. Arun and his team consistently grew the multi-billion SQL Server business faster than other large database and business intelligence vendors during the four years he served in this role.

Arun started his career with Microsoft on the Forefront Security business. Arun drove several acquisitions, including Microsoft's then largest security acquisition Sybari Software, helping quadruple Microsoft's security business and establish Microsoft as the fastest growing among the large security vendors during this period.

Arun founded and served as the President of Think Business Networks, Inc., a vendor of specialized network management software based out of Silicon Valley. Arun grew the company profitably for six years before selling his stake and heading to Stanford for his Masters in Management.
