Mobilizing Your Own Grassroots Movement to Empower Gender Diversity in Technology

Since launching in 2016, the T-Mobile Women in Technology initiative has expanded to 13 locations, engaging more than 350+ employees, in an effort to drive gender diversity. Learn how a grassroots passion, coupled with smart technical individuals, a sprinkling of engineering experimentation, data analysis, and project management, can transform the diversity dynamic in any organization. There is no “one-size-fits-all” solution, but there are steps we can take to advance gender diversity efforts to create a fairer, more inclusive environment in any organization.

Lauri Bingham is the Director of Technology for the Engineering Project Management office at T-Mobile and is based in Seattle, WA. Throughout her 30+ year technology career, across the manufacturing, healthcare, and telecom industries, Lauri has always been passionate about leading diverse teams. She is the Technology Chair of T-Mobile’s Women’s Leadership Network and leads the company’s Women in Technology initiative, to promote and retain gender diversity within Engineering and IT. Lauri is also an active member of the Project Management Institute’s Executive Roundtable.
