Microsoft Certifications: Take the Next Step in your Career Journey

In recent years we have seen a real evolution of Microsoft Certification, and Microsoft Learn itself. For years Microsoft Certification has been a key element in many IT Professionals career journey. The ability to demonstrate mastery of a specific tool or technology provides a clear asset for your resume, as well as a confidence boost - especially for those in the earlier or growth stages of their career.

In recent years Microsoft Certifications have transformed from being product focused, to role based. In my opinion, this was a critical move, and has helped make Microsoft Certification even more relevant and valuable in today’s world. These role-based certifications enable learners to choose a learning journey based on the role you have, or the role you aspire to have. If you are looking to grow and gain confidence in your current role, get a promotion, or start a new career path, a Microsoft Certification, and the training that Microsoft Learn provides, is a great place to start.

It takes time and commitment to gain your Microsoft Certification. Microsoft Learn does a good job of providing different types of training to support your journey – whether it be the free, self-paced online training on their website, or the instructor-led training from one of the many Microsoft Learn Partner. If you haven’t checked out the Microsoft Certifications lately you should. Just click on the relevant job role, and check out the path to get there.

When you start on a path to gain your Microsoft Certification, like anything else, it can be easy to lose focus or momentum, especially when we are pulled in so many other directions daily. It takes commitment to gain your certification, and the associated career benefits.

I’m excited to share that Microsoft Learn is partnering with PASS to help PASS Pro members to gain their Azure Database Administrator Associate certification now. Exclusively for PASS Pro Members (if you haven’t upgraded to PASS Pro this is the latest offering included in a PASS Pro Membership) the PASS Pro Azure DBA Bootcamp will help you as your prepare for the Exam DP-300: Administering Relational Databases on Microsoft Azure, required to earn the Azure Database Administrator Associate certification. Weekly webinars will cover key concepts, office hours give you a chance to connect with others and ask questions as you work through Microsoft Learn learning paths in your own time, plus 50% off of your exam (up to an $80 USD value) for those who complete the program.

If you’ve been considering the Azure Database Administrator Associate certification, this is a great opportunity to dive in, get some help, and get Microsoft Certified (not to mention the other benefits for upgrading to PASS Pro Membership).
