Community Call for Speakers - now closed!
Thank you for your submissions for the PASS Summit 2016 Call for Speakers. The program selection will be announced in late June. This year speakers had the opportunity to submit two Pre-Conference, five General and/or Half-Day, and two Lightning Talk session abstracts. Each abstract must fall under one of the listed session categories, skill levels, and session tracks.
Please note the deadline for submission has now passed: 9:00 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 (04:00 AM GMT, March 3).
How to Submit
- Login to your PASS membership account. (If you don't have one, register for one now)
- Review the Definitions, FAQ, and Pre-Conference pre-requisites.
- Fill out your Personal Details before submitting any abstracts.
- Read and digitally sign the Speaker Agreement before submitting any abstracts. See further guidance on contracts at the top of the Speaker Agreement page.
- Submit your abstracts.
Please Note: Only submitted abstracts will be considered. Saved abstracts are not considered submitted.
A new Experience tab on the Personal Details page is designed to provide our speaker review team with as much information about you as possible. Please make sure to include your past speaking experience and optionally provide us with a video link of a previous presentation or personal introduction. Only the speaker review team will see the video and history information, ensuring that the abstract review and selection process continues to be solely based on abstract merit. For more details on the abstract/ speaker selection process please see our FAQ page.
Confidential Abstract Coaching
The PASS Program team would like to help hopeful PASS Summit speakers with abstract writing and is offering a confidential abstract evaluation service from February 10-26, 2016. To participate and submit your abstract, please download our Abstract Coaching Template. Our team of reviewers will provide anonymous feedback on submitted abstracts. Please see the attached template for helpful information and guidelines.
Please Note: This service, and the volunteer members, are not associated with the PASS Summit speaker and abstract review process in any way. By using this service, your abstract is not being reviewed by any member of the PASS Program speaker or abstract review teams, you are not guaranteed a specific abstract rating, and there is no guarantee that you will be selected as a speaker for PASS Summit. This is a confidential, peer-to-peer service performed by volunteers.
We encourage you to visit the Speaker Resource page on the PASS website for helpful information on writing and submitting abstracts, as well as speaking tips and tricks.
