Data Management for Internet of Things (IoT)

Over the past few years, we've talked about Big Data, Cloud, Polybase, Hekaton, Parallel Databases...

This year, building on all of these topics from the past, we are going to focus on data management for the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is a new generation of information technology and data management requirements are both unique and unprecedented. As such, we believe data management will play a crucial role in IoT effective operations and adoption.

In this keynote, we start from the core definition and architecture of IoT and will describe the "what", "why" and "how" of IoT and its data requirements for the audience to derive a holistic view of the technology.
