Congratulations to SQLSaturday Austin Organizers on Winning the Group OVA

Jim Murphy, John Sterrett, Ajay Mendo, Richard Heim, Mike Burek, and Joanna Crenshaw—this group has demonstrated the core values of our PASS community by working together to help produce another successful SQLSaturday in Austin. John, Mike, and Jim previously received this award in 2015 for their continual involvement, support, and leadership during the event. This year, Joanna joined their team and managed attendee registration flawlessly. With the help of Ajay and Richard, who also provided invaluable support, these dedicated people made this event a great success. Keep up the great work!

Outstanding Volunteer : Andre Batista

André has earned this award by demonstrating his dedication and commitment to our PASS Community. He was the main organizer and speaker for the SQLSaturday Lisbon event in February. He's been volunteering and speaking at many SQLSaturday events in Portugal and also spoke at the SQLSaturday Madrid event in November 2015. André has a refreshing community spirit and his efforts are greatly appreciated!

There are many keen, enthusiastic members of our global community who tirelessly volunteer their time to support PASS and make our organization great. If you know of somebody who should be recognized for their efforts, nominate them for “Outstanding Volunteer of the Month”. Make sure you include in the email the volunteer’s contact information, details of their activities and accomplishments, and why you think they should be recognized.
